About Kevin
Kevin Pregitzer
Kevin is an experienced tattoo artist in Calgary who is inspired by the stories and history behind Japanese imagery. Captivated by the harmonious blending of vivid colours, bold lines, and symbolic elements, Kevin has spent years working to master this time-honoured style.
Drawing inspiration from the legendary ukiyo-e woodblock prints, samurai legends, kabuki theater, and Shinto folklore, Kevin Pregitzer has devoted countless hours to studying the traditional techniques and artistic principles that form the backbone of Japanese tattooing. His deep respect for the historical significance and cultural heritage associated with these tattoos is evident in every meticulous detail he crafts.
Kevin has been tattooing for over 15 years and now does Japanese-style tattooing exclusively. He is well known for his traditional Japanese tattoos and loves to take on large-scale, bright, and bold tattoos. On a more personal note, Kevin enjoys trail running and the outdoors and he tries to get out to the mountains as often as possible.
