About Homestead
Homestead Tattoo
Where classic art meets modern beauty. We are an intimate studio located in The Grain Exchange Building - which is on the southwest corner of 9 Ave. and 1st St. S.W. With a focus on both classic and cosmetic tattoos, our passion is taking your ideas and turning them into pieces of beauty.
The name “Homestead Tattoo” comes from our families farming and Homesteading history in the prairies. We love being in Alberta and especially Calgary. You get a great mix of both worlds. The city is big enough that there is lots of opportunity, but small enough to have a real community feel, while also still being able to enjoy the mountains.

Why Classic Japanese Tattoos?
Kevin is an experienced tattoo artist in Calgary who is inspired by the stories and history behind Japanese imagery. He is well known for his traditional Japanese tattoos and loves to take on large-scale, bright, and bold tattoos. So when you're ready to begin working on your next large traditional Japanese tattoo in Calgary, Kevin is here to bring your ideas to life!

You Matter
At Homestead, we want you to be able to feel relaxed and comfortable. We aim to create a space that is warm and inviting but still bright and clean. Our studio is committed to the strictest of health and safety standards. This will ensure your experience is both impactful and safe.
While we do accommodate walk-ins whenever possible, we prefer that you book your appointment in advance so that we can do our best to accommodate your needs.
